The Biogas market, rapid activation thanks to the Roadmap of this gas

The biogas market could have an excellent springboard in The Biogas Roadmap. On July 15, 2021, the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has released the proposed Biogas Roadmap to public information, with 43 lines of action to multiply by 3.8 the sustainable production of this gas from renewable source until 2030.  

USA to allocate $ 52.5 million to next-generation clean hydrogen technologies

With the goal of accelerating hydrogen projects, the US Department of Energy (DOE) will award $ 52.5 million for next-generation clean hydrogen technologies. This figure will serve to finance 31 projects, according to data published by Offshore Energy on July 8, 2021. The projects will focus on closing technical gaps in technologies for the production, storage, distribution and use of hydrogen, including fuel cells. .

The company will install a burner for explosive atmospheres that will operate in a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading unit of oil and gas, known by its initials in English (FPSO).

Siemens, Thyssenkrupp, Daimler ... Stream of large manufacturers in the hydrogen sector. German industrial giants compete for hydrogen projects, with the help of German and European public funds. Last May, Berlin approved 62 investment projects, for a total of 33,000 million euros, including 8,000 million of public money.
