E&M Combustion supplies industrial burners to Chinese textile company Foshan Yingxia

E&M Combustion, Basque engineering, specialized in Industrial Combustion Technologies has been awarded the design and manufacture of three industrial burners for the Chinese textile sector company Foshan Yingxia Textile Co. LTD, in the city of Foshan, Guangdong province, to which has delivered the first unit, and in whose plant it will install another two more pieces of equipment throughout this year. The demand for industrial equipment in this country marks the reactivation of the market to which the company will deliver at least 8 equipment throughout this year.

The three burners for the company Foshan Yingxia Textile Co. are intended to generate steam for the production processes of the plant and, at the same time, they will generate electrical energy to the textile factory itself.

Currently E&M Combustión is carrying up the commmisioning of the first of these industrial burners in the textile sector company, a JBD-50000-G model with 32 MW of power in the aforementioned plant. The two subsequent burners, already delivered and pending to start operation, correspond to the 40 MW JBD-60000-G series, also prepared to overcome high overpressures in the combustion chamber. These are high-performance, new-generation industrial duoblock burners that can be used with all types of liquid and gaseous fuels, from fossil fuels such as diesel, natural gas and LPG, fuel oil and mixed burners, to special executions carried out by the company designed to operate with biogas, recycled oils and other types of alternative fuels, such as hydrogen.

This type of equipment contracted by the Chinese textile company has Low NOx heads to achieve very low polluting emissions and a high degree of thermal efficiency. Technically, the gas head is designed with an outer gas ring from which a series of lances protrude, and with a crown-shaped gas tube in the middle.

Gas distribution is done with 20% in the central crown and 80% in the outer lances, so that combustion is produced in stages, favoring greater flame stability, and thus achieving a significant reduction in NOx emitted, an aspect of environmental improvement that the Asian country has been taking into account in recent years.

Industrial reactivation in China

Despite a slowdown in industrial activity in this market due to Covid-19, E&M Combustión has closed contracts in China to supply 8 industrial burners so far this year in different locations and industrial plants. The Delta virus mutation has affected industrial activity in some areas in recent months, although the company’s commercial director in this country is confident that they will be able to get rid of it in the coming weeks “because the fight against this virus is in China fast and efficient ”, according to Mr. Pei, who affirms that the activity of the industrial plants is prepared to recover quickly.
