E&M Combustión undertakes the installation of a pistachio drying facility in Castilla-La Mancha

E&M Combustión is undertaking the installation of a pistachio drying facility in the region of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), using air-vein burners designed and manufactured by the company.

The processing and treatment plant where the Ciudad Real pistachio drying facility has been installed will use the JVAV air-vein burner, designed to optimize the product, through a drying process carried out close to the production fields. This will provide the plant with an efficient and direct solution for the drying process. In addition to the design and manufacturing, the company has awarded the thermal engineering firm Soluciones Integrales de Combustión the installation and commissioning of the aforementioned drying line.

Installation of a pistachio drying facility

The pistachio dryer will thus enjoy uniform and efficient heating, optimizing performance and reducing the facility’s energy consumption. Ultimately, these improvements will allow the pistachios’ properties to be better maintained once harvested, without losing quality.
