E & M Combustion has supplied a burner for a District Heating in an area of the town of Kladovo, Serbia, which has 20,635 inhabitants. This thermal power plant generates heat for the supply of hot water and heating to the users.
E & M Combustion is an engineering specialized in the design and manufacture of industrial combustion equipment. For this installation the company has supplied a gas-fuel mixed JBM-HP-8.500-GLO burner. While, the commissioning of the district heating has been carried out in collaboration with a team formed by the company Integral Combustion Solutions and the local engineering Termotim Sombor.
The district heating plant generates thermal energy (heat) from a centralized location from which it distributes hot water and heating services through an underground network system, similar to water, gas or electricity distribution networks. It supposes a system of generation and distribution that presents a greater performance by the minimum thermal losses, a prolonged useful life and an easy maintenance of the installation. This heating system is very common and widespread in Russia, the Nordic countries and areas of Eastern Europe.
In addition to their use in buildings in metropolitan areas, the district heating plants are also used in livestock farms and industrial plants that can use residual energy from thermal processes of the industry or the generation of electricity.
