E&M Combustión awarded a contract for the thermal plant in Suez (Egypt)

E&M Combustión has been awarded a contract for the installation of a 40 MW burner at the combined cycle thermal plant in Suez, Egypt. This equipment will be of the type of gasoil burner.

The project is headed by Initec and the boiler is to be made by Lointek. The burner will operate with air-atomised gasoil and will be required to comply with a modulation range of 1:10. Furthermore, it is required to fulfil US NEC directives and standards, with two out of three safety systems.

The plant, located on the outskirts of the city of Suez, is 130 km away from the capital Cairo.

This new project is a further confirmation of our success in the market for special manufactures for the refinery, petrochemical and energy sectors.
