Saudi Arabia, USA, Mexico, Romania, Poland, Argentina, Morocco …. are some of the more than 30 countries where E & M Combustion has provided its technical  assistance service in recent times to develop the proper functioning of the various industrial plants around the world.

With the aim of enhancing service global support, E & M Combustion created in 2012 a specific department to assist since from the commissioning of the burners manufactured by the company, to maintenance, repair and replacement and spare parts for equipment of organizations, an activity considered essential to maintaining operational plants and optimize their performance.

Raúl Cabadas, responsible for technical support, relates his practical experience: “The idea came to enhance the technical service, that we were already providing, and with the idea of strengthening this area and to provide better customer service, and more qualified support. So that it is able to improve the life of equipment and avoiding future breakdowns. “

With an accumulated experience of more than fifteen years in this sector, E & M Combustion staffed in the main cities of Spain and plans to enhance this activity by incorporating a larger number of technicians in the short term in order to reduce the response time and to provide excellent maintenance service.

Technical assistance

Thermo-solar power plants, refinery activities and industry in general are the most frequent users of these types of services, which also includes food and beverage, chemical and automotive facilities.

In some of these facilities, the annual review of part of the equipment are obligatory and the regulation prescribes the monitoring of the equipment. This is for example in the study case of the Spanish thermo-solar power plants in Ciudad Real, Córdoba and Extremadura, platforms wherein the technical area of E & M Combustion oversees the maintenance service.

Among the most complex installations is that of the biomass boiler in the Environment City of Garray, in Soria, Spain, a town where the execution of an  intelligent building complex and a biomass plant capable of producing electricity for the entire residential area is planned. Right now we are participating in the implementation of solar thermo-solar power plant NOOR1, located in Ouarzazate (Morocco), which will soon be the largest complex  thermo-solar in the world , and has been opened in recent weeks by King Mohamed VI, as well as thermo-solar plant Bookport, in South Africa.

As regards to food and beverage, the company provides technical assistance services to best known companies in the manufacturing of soft drinks or milk as well as oil and pharmaceuticals companies.

During this year, E & M combustion has also gained great acceptance among their customers with different specific training courses conducted by their technicians in situ. These courses are tailored to the needs of each installation.

We have also successfully carried out various energy savings audits, wherein we have managed to change the existing burners with other new generation electronic burners, with Low Nox, incorporating a frequency inverter, fan motor, 02 and CO probe and plan communication touch screen with DCS. We have provided the customer an amortization schedules for that equipment, which in most of the cases, has been surprising.
