E&M Combustion implements a mixed gas-diesel burner in the chemical industry to guarantee energy savings and improve energy efficiency in the factory. The equipment will also contribute to the reduction of emissions from the plant

Fuel accounts for a significant part of the total operating cost in industrial facilities these days. The mixed gas-diesel burner supplied by Spanish engineering allows the alternative use of the most affordable fuel sources, depending on the evolution of the market, while maintaining strict limits on NOx emissions and the elimination of other polluting elements.

Compact gas-diesel mixed burner

The combustion equipment developed for this project is a mixed natural gas-diesel burner from the JBM-HP family, which replaces the previously existing gas burner, and which is aimed at ensuring energy efficiency and complying with environmental standards. It will operate together with a 1,000 kg steam boiler at 8 bar pressure.

JBM-HP burners are new generation equipment, monoblock type, compact, used with all types of liquid and gaseous fuels. The standard range includes industrial burners for traditional fuels such as diesel, natural gas and LPG, fuel oil and mixed gas-diesel and gas-fuel oil or gas-hydrogen burners. Special executions also include equipment to use biogas, recycled oils and other types of alternative fuels.

JBM-HP equipment is prepared to overcome high overpressures in the combustion chamber. They produce low NOx emissions and a reduced noise level in the facilities where they work, by incorporating a silencer in the air intake of the fan. Likewise, they incorporate standard electronic control units that allow the use of frequency inverters to regulate the fan and O2 probes.
