E & M Combustion has supplied five combustion equipment for the Ashalim solar thermal power plant in Israel. The company has started the commissioning works of the plant, which will have a capacity of 121 MW and will be fully operational by mid-2018. It is the seventeenth solar thermal plant in which Spanish engineering specialized in innovative combustion technologies participates.

E & M Combustion, Spanish engineering specializing in the design and manufacture of Combustion Equipment for Industrial Applications, is awarded a contract to install an industrial burner at the Fajar Paper plant in Cikarang. This town, located at west of Java, has registered an important industrial development in recent years. The contract of the Spanish company, with which it has entered the difficult market of Indonesia, has occurred following the recent participation of E & M Combustion in a local conference on technologies of industrial processes.

E & M Combustion has been awarded combustion equipment for the new Ashalim solar thermal plant in Israel, with an output of 121 MW, which will start operations in 2017 with an investment of 1,000 million dollars. The plant, called Ashalim Solar Thermal Power Station, will be located in the Negev desert and provide more clean energy to about 1.2 million households. This is one of the world's largest such projects and will become the first solar thermal plant or Concentrate Solar Power (CSP) developed in Israel by GE and its technology partner BrightSource Energy.
